Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that its upcoming Titanfall multiplayer shooter will use an anti-cheat system in order to keep things fair but, as of right now, it won't say just what technology it's using.

Titanfall is eagerly awaited by millions of shooter fans from around the world, as Respawn has piqued the interest of many by revealing some great videos and screenshots with the new experience.

Now, ahead of a beta stage later this month and the game's actual debut in March, Respawn's Abbie Heppe has revealed on Twitter that the online shooter will use an anti-cheat system in order to make sure that all players aren't using tools or cheats to gain an unfair advantage over their opponents.

Unfortunately, the studio said that it won't disclose just what that anti-cheat mechanic is, so it's unclear if it will use commercial programs, like PunkBuster, or have something bespoke created by the studio itself.
