The development team at Respawn Entertainment is not yet sure exactly what kind of new content will be delivered via the free updates it has planned for the newly launched Titanfall, but private matches will be some of the first elements to be added to the shooter.

Abbie Heppe, a community manager working at the studio, tells TotalXbox that, "We’re going to do free updates, private matches and stuff we’re going to be adding in for users and not charging for."

She adds, "we’re still trying to figure out that sort of stuff internally and some of that stuff comes from feedback from the community and what people want from launch."

Titanfall is at the moment offered on the PC and the Xbox One in North America and will arrive on March 13 in Europe, with the Xbox 360 version of the game set to launch before the end of the month.

Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts have not said when the first free update for the shooter will be released.

A Season Pass for Titanfall is also available for purchase and it allows gamers to secure guaranteed delivery for three downloadable content packs that will include new game maps and more.
