The development team at Respawn Entertainment is launching a new video linked to Titanfall that's part of an effort to familiarize fans of the game with its core ideas and the reasoning behind the introduction of the mechs.

Drew McCoy, a producer on the title, offers information on how the team came up with the concept and then implemented it.

He states, "You know, they’ve got hands, they can pick up the Pilot, they can grab guys out of the other Titans and they’re motion captured."

Titanfall will allow gamers to fight on foot as a Pilot and, at certain moments, call down a Titan that can use a lot of firepower to take out the enemy team.

All missions in the game will include dynamic narrative and a crescendo towards a final large battle involving all the players.

Titanfall will be out in 2014 and will arrive on the Xbox One, the 360 and the PC.
