The online shooter's target of 60fps is causing problems

A brand new report has appeared online claiming that Titanfall, the upcoming shooter from Respawn Entertainment, is currently struggling to run at a native 720p resolution on the Xbox One next-gen console from Microsoft.

Titanfall is one of the big games coming this year to the Xbox One, alongside the Xbox 360 and PC, and developer Respawn is working hard to achieve not just visual quality but also a framerate of 60fps.

This target, however, means that the game will run at a native resolution that's lower than the full HD 1920x1080 (1080p) one.

According to a new report from insider Thuway on Twitter, the title is even struggling to run at a 1280x720 (720p) native resolution.

Apparently, the new drivers from Microsoft for the Xbox One hardware might solve some of these problems, but it's still quite worrying to see that the game, just a few months before its March release, has such big problems.
