It's unclear whether it is promoting a bigger future initiative

A new live action trailer for the recently launched Titanfall is now out, allowing gamers to step right into the heart of the action as a pilot who enters the battlefield and needs to locate a mech.

The footage is rather short and probably serves as a teaser for a new project that Playfight and developer Respawn Entertainment are working on.

There’s a ton of CGI included in the trailer and it tends to stretch the boundaries of the live action description.

Titanfall is now out on the Xbox One and on the PC in North America and gamers in Europe will have to wait for another two days before playing it.

A version of the game is also set to be launched on the Xbox 360 before the end of the month.

The live action trailer is just one of the many promotional efforts for the shooter that publisher Electronic Arts has created, which also includes a classic arcade site, with Asteroids and more, and an Xbox One bundle.

Titanfall is described as an evolution of the first-person shooter, delivering more mobility to gamers and opening up more tactical possibilities to explore both as pilots and inside the mechs.
