The development team at Respawn Entertainment might have surprised some gamers when it announced that it would not ban Titanfall gamers who play it before the official launch dates as long as they have copies that are legitimate.

But now the company is taking its fan-friendly policy one step further by actually making available the first title update for Titanfall on the Xbox One and presumably on the PC, according to an image posted by a player on MP1st.

The patch seems to be pretty big, coming in at 840 MB, and it’s yet unclear what kind of changes it introduces to the title at the moment.

Titanfall is set to be launched on the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PC on March 11 in North America and on March 13 in Europe.

Those gaming on the Xbox 360 will have to wait for the multiplayer shooter for another two weeks.

Respawn Entertainment says its new title is designed to enlarge the limits of the genre by allowing players to have unprecedented mobility and to use the heavily armed and armored mechs to rain destruction on their enemies.

A Season Pass has recently been confirmed for Titanfall, set to include three paid DLC packs.
