Respawn Entertainment has offered more details about the June update that will go live for Titanfall this month on the PC and Xbox One, and in the near future for the Xbox 360, confirming that it brings two new modes – Marked for Death and Wingman LTS – as well as new Titan voices and decals.

Titanfall dropped onto the PC and Xbox One last March and reached the Xbox 360 in April. Since then, developer Respawn has rolled out plenty of updates, not to mention the first promised DLC expansion, in the form of Expedition, which included three fresh maps for the multiplayer experience.

Now, while it's busy at E3 2014, Respawn has revealed on its website that a new update is coming this month to the PC and Xbox One platforms and soon after on the Xbox 360.

The patch includes two fresh game modes called Marked for Death and Wingman LTS. The first offers a novel and strategic experience, while the second introduces a 2v2 variation of Last Titan Standing.

"Marked for Death is a 6v6 mode where one player per team is 'Marked for Death.' Teams need to protect their own marked player while hunting down the enemy Pilot. Once a target is killed, new Pilots are marked. This is a fast paced mode that challenges players to fully explore maps and coordinate as a team," the studio said about the new game mode.

"Wingman LTS is a 2v2 version of Last Titan Standing. It’s our first non 6v6 mode and relies on teamwork and strategy. Great for players who want to play an even more tactical version of LTS."

Special new burn cards for Titan weapons and abilities will also be included in the update, not to mention enhancements to the matchmaking system, burn card overflow protection, better menu art, and improvement of auto-titan AI so that they can deploy smoke or particle walls.

Last but not least, the new update finally brings forth the promised personalization features for titans. These include two voiceover packs that join the existing one and special decals that are unlocked if you complete certain challenges.

"Players will be able to choose between 3 Titan voiceover packs. Betty is the original voice and this update adds Lisa and Jeeves. Players will also be able to select Titan decals. You’ll unlock these as you complete challenges in the game and apply them to the front of your Titan. Our friends over at Penny Arcade were kind enough to contribute a cool decal to the mix too."

More details about the June update for Titanfall are set to be released later this month, once Respawn nails down the specific improvements to the game.
