Titanfall, the upcoming first-person shooter from Respawn Entertainment, has finally gone gold, meaning it's ready for release next month across the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

Titanfall made a big splash last year at E3 2013 when it was officially revealed to the world by Respawn Entertainment and Electronic Arts at the Microsoft press conference.

It immediately captured the hearts and minds of gamers and media representatives alike, gaining a huge amount of hype and praise from everyone.

Since then, quite a lot of details have appeared online, alongside screenshots, videos, and much more.

Now, after plenty of other details and a beta stage that took place earlier this month, developer Respawn is getting ready to release the actual game.

According to a new post on the studio's Twitter account, Titanfall has officially gone gold, as copies of the game are already available for the staff of the developer.

Going gold means that work on the game is complete and that discs are being manufactured and shipped to retail stores worldwide.

Titanfall will initially launch for the PC and Xbox One on March 11 in North America and March 13 in Europe, and it will also appear for the Xbox 360 at the end of the month, on March 25 and 28, respectively.
