Respawn Entertainment has confirmed quite a lot of its future plans for Titanfall at PAX East over the weekend, as it plans on bringing not just the new Expedition DLC for the shooter, but also new modes, more customization options, fresh Burn Cards, a spectator system, and even global leaderboards.

Titanfall is now officially available worldwide for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, bringing a great multiplayer-only first-person shooter experience to all these platforms and delighting millions of players globally.

At PAX East over the weekend, Respawn Entertainment confirmed that it was going to debut a Titanfall: Expedition DLC for the game in May, and now more details have surfaced from that panel, via Titanfallblog.

First up, a brand new game mode called Wingmen LTS is going to appear for free soon. It's a variation on Last Titan Standing that pits against each other two teams composed of two players. They must work together and eliminate the others without getting their titan wrecked.

What's more, Burn Cards for Titans will also be added into the game, as Respawn wants to also expand the scope of the temporary bonuses for the big mechs. You can expect upgraded weaponry, armor, abilities, and more.

Better customization options, including the ability to personalize your titan with decals, are going to appear in the game, although Respawn didn't go into that much detail.

A worldwide leaderboard and ranking system might soon be implemented to track the performance of players. A Spectator mode and a free camera system are scheduled to appear, so that competitive and eSports matches can be broadcast and enjoyed easily.

In order for players to easily find others with similar interests, a special hashtag system is going to be added to the multiplayer mode. Players will have to set a hashtag and they'll be paired up with others using the same one.

Last but not least, an experimental section will be added to the game modes list, in which Respawn will test experiences for a week or two to see how they fare in the real world. Depending on feedback and viability, these test modes might be added to the game for free.

One such experience is Attrition Elite, where Pilot and Titan kills count for the score, thereby bridging the gap between Attrition and Pilot Hunter modes.

Unfortunately, Respawn did not offer a release schedule for all these new Titanfall features, so expect to hear plenty of details soon enough.
