Tomorrow will finally see Australian owners of Titanfall play on low-latency servers

Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that Australian Titanfall owners will finally be able to play on dedicated servers for their country starting tomorrow, March 14.

Titanfall is the recently-released multiplayer-only first-person shooter from Respawn Entertainment and you can imagine that, being an online-only experience, having even the tiniest bit of lag or latency means that your character can get easily killed by others.

Latency is still a big issue for the game, which was even pulled from territories like South Africa because it was unplayable due to the slow servers.

In Australia, things weren't that great either, as local players had to connect to Asian servers, thereby experiencing quite a bit of lag.

After a great combined effort between Respawn Entertainment, Electronic Arts, and Microsoft, it seems that the local Australian servers will go live starting tomorrow, Friday, March 14.

The announcement was made by Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella on Twitter, who confirmed that the machines are already live but that further testing is needed until tomorrow to make sure they can handle the strain.

This is great news for Australian Titanfall fans, as they can finally play the online first-person shooter on equal footing with their fellow countrymen and not on latency-filled Asian servers.
