The development team at Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts are announcing that update nine for their shooter Titanfall is at the moment going live on both the Xbox One from Microsoft and on the PC.

The official Twitter account for the game explains that it is designed to introduce a number of minor bug fixes and to improve connectivity on both platforms.

The weird thing is that Respawn Entertainment does not seem willing to offer an actual patch log for this ninth update for Titanfall, which plenty of gamers are already asking for.

Previously, the studio has meticulously delivered information on the changes that it was making to the game, and that means a full list of the changes introduced with this new update might turn up in a few hours or days.

The Xbox 360 version of Titanfall will probably get the same changes in a few weeks.

Titanfall might still get more content in 2015

Titanfall was introduced in March of last year and since then the developers and publisher Electronic Arts have introduced a number of three downloadable content packs for the title, all of them designed to expand the shooter with more maps and modes.

A version of the game which includes all the content was launched towards the end of the year, and the two companies have announced that more than 7 million gamers have played the game during this interval.

The general consensus among fans of Titanfall is that Respawn Entertainment is using all its resources at the moment to work on a full-fledged sequel, which will probably be offered on the PC, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4.

No official announcement has been made about it so far and it will be interesting to see what elements of the first game will be expanded upon in a new experience.

Titanfall was praised on launch for its dynamic nature and the way it mixes Pilot and Titan action.

In late 2014, it was overshadowed by both Destiny, the new title from Bungie, and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, which was created by Sledgehammer Games.
