Titanfall developer Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that it will bring its future games to the PlayStation 4, despite the fact that its debut title, Titanfall, won't be coming to Sony's next-gen console.

Titanfall was revealed earlier this year as an apparently timed exclusive for the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 platforms.

EA confirmed yesterday, however, that the game was going to be exclusive to those platforms.

According to Respawn founder Vince Zampella, the decision was taken by EA and the studio was only recently informed of this.

He assured fans on Twitter that future Respawn games, like a potential Titanfall 2, would be made for the PlayStation 4.

As of yet, however, the only platforms on which the new multiplayer shooter will appear are the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.

The game will make its debut on March 11 in North America and March 13 in Europe.
