Titanfall, the first-person shooter from developer Respawn Entertainment and publisher Electronic Arts, has continued to stay in the number one position in the United Kingdom video game chart for the week that ended on March 26.

The performance is linked to the launch of the Xbox 360 port of the game, created by Bluepoint, which continues to sell better than the PC and the Xbox One versions of the title, which have been offered since March.

The developers have already explained that they are launching the first paid downloadable content pack for Titanfall at some point in May and that probably means that the title has the potential to remain in first place until the launch of Watch Dogs, the delayed Ubisoft game that arrives on May 27.

2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil, the football simulation from EA Sports that focuses on the coming international competition has stayed in second place for the week, according to UKIE. The title still has a chance to take number one in the coming weeks as anticipation for the real-world final tournament reaches its climax.

The final position on the podium is now in the hands on another first-person shooter, Call of Duty: Ghosts, developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision, which has made a solid jump from fifth place as more DLC was launched for it.

FIFA 14, the older football title, is in fourth place once more and continues to be present in the UK chart even though it was first launched in September of last year and has not received new content other than Team of the Week packages for Ultimate Team.

LEGO The Hobbit, the game that features all the most interesting moments from the first two movies based on the book from J.R.R. Tolkien, is in fifth place, falling two positions, and is followed by the Xbox 360 version of Minecraft, which has received a new content pack and climbed two positions.

South Park: The Stick of Truth from Obsidian and Ubisoft, has dropped one place to reach seventh, while The LEGO Movie Video Game is in eighth this week.

The launch of the Zomboss Down package for Plants versus Zombies: Garden Warfare has allowed the shooter from PopCap to reach ninth once more and the United Kingdom top ten is closed down by Battlefield 4, the shooter from DICE and EA that has managed to gain two positions.

Trials Fusion and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag are both out of the first ten positions of the chart.
