The game is going multi-platform, allegedly, but it's still unconfirmed

A brand new report has appeared online claiming that Titanfall is going to appear on more platforms, including the PS4, in the near future, despite an exclusivity contract with Microsoft for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Titanfall was one of the year's most anticipated games and managed to delight quite a lot of fans on the PC and Xbox One when it was released back in March, and on the Xbox 360, on which it appeared last month.

Despite the fact that EA confirmed that Titanfall won't appear on more platforms due to an exclusivity agreement with Microsoft, the publisher did leave the door open for potential sequels going multi-platform.

After EA revealed this week that it was going to continue its partnership with developer Respawn Entertainment for more Titanfall games, a report has appeared about a PS4 edition of the current Titanfall.

According to Sony insider Tidux on Twitter, Titanfall is already playable on the PS4 thanks to an internal build at Respawn and will go multi-platform in the future.

The source has also revealed that it might run at a 1080p native resolution, as apparently Respawn has not encountered the problems found on Xbox One, where the game runs at 792p due to the ESRAM.

Take this rumor with a massive grain of salt, however, as no other details are known.
