Titanfall will receive a beta stage ahead of its release in March, 2014, according to a brand new report that appeared online.

Among the most anticipated games of 2014 is Titanfall, the new first-person shooter from Respawn Entertainment, which is set to debut on the PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 in March of next year.

While developer Respawn hinted at a test phase for the online shooter, nothing official has been confirmed.

Now, Edge magazine writes that a Titanfall beta stage will take place before the game's actual debut in spring of next year, but it declined to actually pin a start date on the trial phase.

Respawn Entertainment has yet to comment on the report and it's possible that the official announcement will be made later this week at the VGX 2013 event on December 7 in Los Angeles.
