The Titanfall beta stage is set to begin soon, as Respawn Entertainment has confirmed that the game's test build is currently in certification and getting ready for release later this month.

Titanfall launches in March and, after plenty of reports, developer Respawn has confirmed a few weeks ago that a beta stage will kick off soon.

Now, the studio's co-founder, Vince Zampella, has revealed on Twitter that the beta will receive an official date and a method of entering it after it exits the certification stage.

"Need to put a build through certification and pass before we officially announce a date for beta," Zampella said.

He has also mentioned that the PC edition of the game will see its beta be distributed through Electronic Arts' Origin digital service and that on the Xbox One it's unclear whether an Origin account will be required.
