Respawn Entertainment, the developer of the upcoming Titanfall online shooter, has warned fans to stay away from any website that claims it offers access into a beta stage for the new game, as they're obviously scams.

Titanfall impressed millions of gamers worldwide back at E3 2013 when it was properly revealed to the world and at Gamescom 2013, where lots of people could get a hands-on experience with the new game.

As with any popular thing, nefarious individuals want to capitalize on its fans and have set up fake websites that promise access into a Titanfall beta stage in exchange for personal information or even money.

Respawn Entertainment has posted an official message on Twitter, warning fans to stay away from anyone or any website promising a beta code for Titanfall, as they're scams.

Respawn has yet to detail plans for a Titanfall beta, but official info should appear as we get closer to the game’s launch in early 2014 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
