According to the 'Ming Pao Daily News' the kung-fu expert made quite a fool of himself Monday night when he burst on the stage during a live performance of the Taiwanese songwriter/singer Jonathan Lee.
Jackie attended the show as a special guest of the artist himself but, at around 11.15 p.m, he jumped on the stage and pretended to sing a duet with Lee.
But first, he wanted to try his hand at conducting the band. All he managed to do was to stop and then restart it several times, bringing everybody to the verge of exasperation.
When the crowd started booing him off the stage, the usually calm and innocent-looking actor, begin to hurl insults at the spectators, the 'Ming Pao Daily' reports. The same newspaper quoted Chan as having said that he was drunk.
Solon So, one of Jackie's spokespersons offered no comment on the incident, claiming that he wasn't present at the concert. The organizers of the event reacted the same way and didn't respond yet to any of the many phone calls seeking an explanation.
