Some gadgets are just plain cute, and I dare say that the latest invention from Silverlit is enough parts gadget and enough parts toy that it is both adorable and awesome.

It's hard enough to make something fly under its own power, though robots and drones have been getting better at it over the past decade.

Yet it's doubly hard to make something capable of flying and also small.

The folks at Silverlit managed it just fine though. They made the RC chopper, which has officially been acknowledged by Guinness as holding the record from the smallest IR-controlled helicopter.

It can easily be held on one's fingertips, being just two and a half inches long.

It is called the nano-Falcon and will sell from June onwards, for $46 / €35-46.
