TimeShift is a first-person shooter, which Sony would just love to use against Halo 3. Unfortunately, it doesn't stand a chance, not because of the game, but because of the console itself: it's still too expensive, although Blu-ray diode production costs have dropped and it lacks titles... a lot.
However, the game is said to immerse the player
in a deep storyline, as the main character is equipped with a unique quantum suit that slows, stops and reverses the flow of time. Sounds more than catchy, what can I say, but something like this has to be backed up by a marvelous gameplay experience.
The robust multiplayer mode is said to be that factor, as gamers will be able to take the time control powers online with up to 16 players battling it out across seven game modes. In addition, gamers will also be able to customize their own game mode using over 60 options with a total of 14 multiplayer maps to choose from. Al Simone, SVP of Global Marketing for Sierra Entertainment, is quite confident of the game's success when it's going to be written on Blu-ray discs: "Sierra Entertainment and Sabre Interactive are changing the way gamers play FPS games by giving them the ultimate weapon - Time," said Al Simone. "TimeShift will compete with the best shooter games of the year on any platform and will offer PLAYSTATION 3 gamers a visceral new experience unlike any they have ever seen or played before."

Defeating the final Boss
In the fight with Dr. Krone's gigantic Sentinel, when you destroy one of his guns with the Pulse Gun, Krone will send artillery raining on your roof. In order to escape this barrage, slow time and go into the far right corner. Face the wall and up at Krone's Sentinel. Jump up on the platform. Keep running to the right into the corner. You will take no damage while in that corner. This works for all three barrages.
Atrox footprint
If you kill someone or step in oil or mud, walk on cement or somewhere clean and look at your footprint. It will be in great detail and read "Atrox" at the top/middle of your shoe print. "Atrox" could be a reference to a type of snake, a band, and a television show or movie.
