Just in time for the winter holidays, Timberland has launched a new kind of shoes meant to make our skiing trips and hiking experiences even more enjoyable.

While shoes with soles made of recycled rubber are not a new thing, the American manufacturer and retailer of outdoors wear plans to introduce us to the first kind of green foldable hiking shoes.

Besides keeping our feet warm and helping us cope with the freezing temperatures, the new boots allow us to fit more items in our suitcases, since they are very flexible and can be zipped into themselves. Plus they only weight about nine ounces.

"Whether you're out backpacking, car camping or just sitting around the backyard firepit, your feet will truly appreciate our packable, water-repellent Radler Trail Camp," reveal the manufacturers.

The innovative product, named the "Radler Trail Camp," available in red and black, has a minimum impact on the environment, since its sole is made of 42% recycled rubber. Radler Trail Camp is currently priced at $65 (€49.9) and could be considered one of the most appreciated Christmas gifts.
