We have one more reason to believe Tim Cook’s promise that Apple is not going to change with him replacing Steve Jobs as several sources are reporting that Cook is keen to adopt one of Steve Jobs’ traits - taking the time to answer emails from Apple fans.

Following Steve Jobs resignation as CEO, Cook has reportedly been flooded with emails of congratulations for his new position within Apple.

Some of the emails, however, were from regular joes who were eager to contact the new Apple CEO by email.

One such person is Justin R., who is carrying out military service in Iraq. He reportedly mentioned to Cook that he used Apple products to communicate with his family.

Cook responded thanking him for his military service, according to iDownloadBlog.

Another Apple fan, one that has ties to Auburn University (where Cook graduated) included Auburn's famous "War Eagle" battle cry, to which Cook responded: “Thanks Justin. War Eagle forever!”

Soon after Steve Jobs retired from his CEO position with Apple, many began to wonder whether Tim Cook would continue the trend to answer emails from Apple fans.

This was, after all, one of the things that made Jobs so special in the hearts of Apple fans across the globe.

The man took the time to address even the simplest endeavors, answering random emails from all kinds of people, regardless of age, sex, nationality, even IQ.

Even if it’s not Cook’s thing to answer emails, he couldn’t have not picked up where Steve Jobs left off.

After all, the man did promise to all Apple staffers that “Apple is not going to change.”

“I cherish and celebrate Apple’s unique principles and values,” Cook also said in his letter to employees.

You can bet that one of those principles is having a CEO that’s not just a suit, but a person who reaches out and touches others. What better way to share Steve Jobs’ vision of leadership?
