Just in case you didn’t know how awesome Tilda Swinton can be, check out the video above to see what she did at the ongoing Ebertfest 2013, in memory of her friend, film critic Roger Ebert, who passed away from cancer a short while ago.

Tilda and Roger had been close, so she wanted to pay tribute to him the way they did back home in Scotland, with a dance-along.

So she asked the sound guy to play the music “nice and loud” and then, to Barry White’s “You’re the First, the Last, My Everything,” she got all 1,500 people in the Virginia Theater to dance with her, “dance with Roger.”

Also present was Roger’s wife, Chaz, who danced from the stage.

Roger would have loved it, as all his loyal readers must know.
