After going through some really hard times in the past few weeks, especially since his father died of cancer,
Tiger Woods does not have any time off. Instead of mourning his deceased father, Woods has to go to court, after suing the yachting company that manufactured his boat.
After he had already signed a contract, by which Christensen Shipyards was not to reveal any information whatsoever regarding the identity of the person for whom they were manufacturing the yacht, the Canadian firm broke that deal.
Instead, they used the golf champion`s image to "show off" in front of other customers. But they didn`t get away with it, since Woods' wife discovered some pictures with a yacht and her husband on it in one of the Christensen brochures.
The yacht that we`re talking about is a 155 feet long one-of-a-kind, and it has been manufactured by Trideck Motor Yacht standards. Tiger Woods lawyers immediately started the legal actions as soon as they found out. Tiger`s wife was clearly very affected by the whole incident:
"The information revealed by the company has done a lot of damage to us and to our family. No financial compensation is ever going to repair what they did".
I still can`t figure out what Miss Woods was so angry about, but anyway As for the financial compensation, Tiger Woods sued Shipyards, asking moral damages of 50 million dollars.
