Over the weekend, reports started to emerge that, while in a terribly difficult position, both professionally and on a personal level, because of his conduct in recent years, Tiger Woods was still fighting to save his marriage to Elin Nordegren. Today, TMZ informs that Elin herself is not yet decided as to what to do, namely divorce Tiger or turn a blind eye on his repeated infidelities and struggle to save the marriage.

According to the celebrity gossip website / paparazzi agency, despite earlier reports that she had already contacted high-power attorneys in view of a legal separation, Elin is currently in the balance. A source familiar to the situation is telling TMZ that she would be willing to forgive and forget Woods’ past “transgressions,” but, when attempting to do so, she comes across one major obstacle: namely the impressive number of alleged mistresses, which is now up to 14 no less.

“Tiger Woods’ wife, Elin Nordegren, is conflicted over what to do with her marriage, sources tell TMZ. We’re told Elin is not going to file for divorce immediately, but there are two issues she just can’t get past – that Tiger allegedly had a 3-year relationship with one of the women, and another alleged affair occurred while Elin was pregnant,” TMZ writes of the things that are holding Elin back from accepting a reconciliation.

“We know Elin has confided in friends that she could have fairly easily forgiven Tiger had it been only one woman. But the sheer number, along with a long-term relationship and the pregnancy fling, has Elin doubting whether she can ever trust Tiger Woods again. Trust is her issue. Clearly not a shock, but that’s what is in her head. But still... Elin hasn’t pulled the trigger – yet,” TMZ further says, citing the same (unnamed) reliable sources.

In case of a divorce, attorneys for both parties would have a field day dividing the assets and money between the two, People magazine also writes after consulting with several law experts (who are not connected in any way to the case). If there is no prenup signed, things could get even messier, with Elin standing good chances of walking away with up to 50 percent of Woods’ total worth, they say.
