Tiger Woods Unhappy With British Open Win

Although he managed to win his third British Open of his career - and 11th overall - you would expect Tiger Woods to be a little happier. And I'm not talking about the fact that he is still in a great deal of pain after his father passed away almost 3 months ago. That's something we can all agree as being pretty normal. Still, Woods, complained about the conditions of play, since most of the unprofessional photographers were delaying him and Sergio Garcia from playing.

Soon after he managed to beat American Chris DiMarco
in the final holes of the day, Woods complained about the amateur photographers during the weekend and apologized for delaying the game.

"We had never seen anything like it before. It wasn't the professional photographers, it was the gallery. They had cameras or camera phones. The cameras kept going off while we were over the shot or preparing to hit the shot, or even hitting the shot they were going off. It was very frustrating for Sergio and I. Because of all the undue delays that we had with our caddies and the marshals trying to get a situation where we could play, we got put on the (slow play) clock. It wasn't our fault. It is just the way it was", stated Woods after his 11th Major success.

He is still 7 Major titles away from establishing a new world record. Jack Nicklaus was the first man in the history of the sport to have won 18 Majors in his entire professional career. With this success, Woods already equaled Walter Hagen in the golfing Hall of Fame, and will now try to focus on catching Nicklaus in the years to come.

If he continues like that, he has a great chance to top Nicklaus' record, since he is only 30 years of age. Still, the most important thing is that Tiger Woods managed to get back on track after his disappointing US Open earlier this summer, when he missed his first cut as a professional golfer.
