As the number of the alleged mistresses Tiger Woods has had while married to Elin Nordegren continues to grow, having already become a two-digit one, the golfer’s “prime mistress” Rachel Uchitel is receiving death threats, it has emerged. Rachel has not only been getting threatening phone calls, but she’s also showered with negativism online, on her Facebook page, TMZ has learned.

Probably because of this and in order to avoid drawing even more the attention of those fans who see her as a homewrecker, Uchitel has reportedly gone into hiding, where she will wait for this to blow over. Whether she has taken measures to stop the death threats from coming, it has not yet been revealed, but chances are police are already investigating the case, it is also being said.

“Rachel Uchitel has been getting numerous death threats, sources tell TMZ. Uchitel – the woman whose alleged affair ignited the Tiger Woods scandal – has been getting cell phone calls from people threatening to kill her. A number of people got her cell phone number by looking at a 2001 photo making the rounds with an old cell phone number displayed – a number that referred callers to her current cell phone,” TMZ writes.

“We’re told several callers have threatened to hunt Uchitel down in New York and get her. People have also made threats on her Facebook page, which she has now shut down,” the paparazzi agency / celebrity gossip website further informs. Uchitel has not commented on the situation in any way, as neither has Woods himself, whose whereabouts are currently unknown.

As we also noted on previous occasions, it’s not just the fans that are speaking their mind on this entire situation, one way or another, since Woods’ sponsors are also taking a stand by dropping out of the deals they had with him. Tiger Woods, believed to make an estimated $100 million a year of endorsements alone, is gradually being blacklisted by all his former sponsors as a result of the fact that his image has taken a serious hit with the cheating allegations surfaced in the media over the past couple of weeks.
