She reportedly
got $10 million from golfer Tiger Woods under an ironclad agreement that prevented her from ever talking to the media about the affair she had with him, but it looks like Rachel Uchitel is about to get richer – and sober. Uchitel, Jeremy London and wife, and Jason Davis have all been confirmed for the next season of “Celebrity Rehab,”
AceShowbiz informs.
For quite a while there, whether a new season of the popular show would be made was highly questionable, as rumors claimed there were
no stars attached to it. Producers initially went for the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Heather Locklear but, when these two denied they even had a problem, they focused on Tila Tequila. Just days ago, word got out that Tila had
been dropped because producers did not want to put her in front of a camera with all the marks of self-inflicted wounds on her arms.
Still sparked even more speculation that a new season of the show would
not be made. “‘Celebrity Rehab’ is minus Tila Tequila and plus Jeremy London. The actor reportedly has signed up for the reality show that helps celebrities overcoming their addiction for 21 days straight. His wife Melissa Cunningham, according to TMZ, is also on board. London made a headline last month for being kidnapped and forced to do drugs. The ‘7th Heaven’ star has a history of coke and pills addiction but a source at the rehab center said London and his wife’s case needs more attention because they are having withdrawals. The show is apparently just a first step before he enters further treatment which should last 3 to 6 months,” AceShowbiz writes.
“Filming which had been delayed because the producers failed to secure some A-list stars will begin soon and the premiere is set within this year. Joining London and Cunningham are ‘The Hills’ star Jason Wahler, self-proclaimed world’s first supermodel Janice Dickinson, Tiger Woods’ mistress Rachel Uchitel, former child actor Leif Garrett, oil heir Jason Davis and mother of Keyshia Cole, Frankie Lons,” the e-zine goes on to say.
Initially, after news of the $10 million payoff from Tiger transpired in the media, it was being said that Uchitel would retire from the spotlight altogether. Then, for a while, the tabs entertained the idea that she might land a dating reality show, but nothing really came of that. After a short-lived rumor that she’d do “Celebrity Apprentice,” it seems that her next gig will be on “Celebrity Rehab.”
