Golfer Tiger Woods and (presumably) estranged wife Elin Nordegren have not been seen together since their big row in November, when she found out that he was cheating on her with several glamour models. Reports are now saying that Woods is trying to win Elin back, who may have changed her mind a bit about getting a divorce, by offering her a custom-made boat, priced at $2-3 million, according to People magazine.

Apparently, the golfer is not sparing any expense when it comes to attempting to get his wife back, reports are saying. Knowing that she was a fan of diving, he had a boat made especially for her and plans to offer it to her as a “peace offering,” being almost certain she will not turn him down, also because they had talked about getting one before the big fight in November last year.

“The future of Tiger Woods’ marriage and career may be in question, but the embattled golf star will have something to look forward to in the coming weeks: A new, custom-designed sporting boat christened Solitude, according to sources. Aptly named for the embattled athlete who hasn’t been seen since fighting with wife Elin Nordegren on Thanksgiving night, the 61-foot boat may also serve as a peace offering,” People magazine writes, citing inside sources.

“Solitude is a dive boat and was designed for Elin, who loves the sport. Tiger and Elin have continued diving when they are out for relaxation. And they talked about having a boat that would be mainly for this purpose,” an unnamed tipster reveals for the same publication, saying this is the closest thing to an indication that Woods is indeed thinking of offering Elin the boat as a reconciliation gift.

If reports that Elin is seriously considering calling off her legal representatives and halt the divorce proceedings are accurate, then this offering of a boat could actually be the one thing to seal their reconciliation, it is being said. Then again, it could be just another rumor – and so it shall be labeled until further notice / confirmation.
