14 DAY TRIAL // This year's Consumer Electronics Show has ended and we have seen quite a few interesting announcements from some of the most important players on the digital camera market.
Tiffen, a company with 75 years of experience in manufacturing consumer/professional grade lens filters and other photographic equipment, revealed quite a few new products at CES 2014. The company introduced a new Neutral Density filter capable of absorbing up to a 10-stop exposure, a new line of camera bags under the Domke brand and three new Davis & Sanford tripods.
In addition to that, Tiffen also presented two Steadicam camera stabilizers including the Staedicam CURVE which is now available for purchase at a price of $99.95 / €73, while the other is a brand new product called Steadicam Smoothee.
Tiffen Steadicam Smoothee was specially designed to provide shake free video footage recording possibilities for iPhone 5s, DRIFT Ghost-S and HD Ghost as well as GoPro HERO3/3+ action cameras.
Developed by one of the leaders in camera stabilization technology, Steadicam, the patented Smoothee will completely eliminate shaky video footage when shooting handheld, offering a precise and easy to use control at the same time.

Steadicam Smoothee features a patented mono-frame metal structure that comes with an easy-to-use interchangeable mount to further expand camera capture options. Besides the aforementioned compatible cameras, the stabilizer can also be used with an iPhone 3Gs/4/4s, iPod touch and GoPro HERO 2 cameras.
The Tiffen Steadicam Smoothee will hit market shelves in May at a price of $149 / €110.
