If watching TV is your thing, these new DVRs will let you record your shows

One of the reasons why I don't watch TV anymore (or not live, anyway) is the fact that the Internet makes it easier to find what I want and like without having to wait for it or sit through endless commercial breaks.

A new reason not to watch TV might be this new DVR line from TiVo. Dubbed the TiVo Roamio, Roamio Plus and Roamio Pro, the TiVo line-up plans to be your solution for entertainment.

As far as technical specifications go, according to Slashgear, the Roamio DVR will allow you to record up to four shows at the same time, with a recording capacity of up to 75 hours.

The Plus allows recording of up to six simultaneous shows and about 150 hours uptime. The difference between the Plus and the Pro is the fact that while the Plus will record for 150 hours in HD, the Pro does it three times longer.

If cable is not your thing, you can stream your favorite show from apps such as Netflix or Amazon.
