All mice can perform the core functions of clicking, dragging and scrolling, but the more buttons and internal hardware you add, the more versatile and/or specialized the things can get. AORUS' Thunder M7 is only the latest piece of evidence to that effect.

The mouse has 16 programmable buttons positioned in such a way that you can use them as shortcuts to instantly access the various skills and abilities of your virtual characters.

Basically, you can set up macros and assign functions tailored to your virtual avatars in massively multiplayer (WoW, DC Universe Online, SW:TOR, etc.) and multiplayer battle arena games (DOTA).

Eight of the buttons are located near the fingertips, while the others are distributed almost evenly across the rest of the mouse surface, but still within reach. In total, the mouse can store 70 macros.

Other specifications include 200 to 8,200 DPI sensitivity, a DPI switchblade (for on-the-fly adjustment to 800/1600/3200/5600 DPI), 1,000 Hz report rate, 1 1.8-meters USB cable (5.9 feet) and Omron switches (guaranteed to last for at least 20 million button presses each).

Finally, it has the tracking speed of the pro-laser tracking FPS (frames per second). All in all, the black, still not priced Aorus Thunder M7 MMO mouse measures 116 x 70 x 44 mm / 4.56 x 2.75 x 1.73 inches.
