14 DAY TRIAL // Indonesian hacker Hmei7, who’s known for defacing tens of thousands of websites, has breached and defaced three websites of the government of Venezuela, E Hacking News reports.
The targeted sites are the ones of the National Mutual Guarantee Company for Medium and Small Industry (sogampi.gob.ve), the Mayor’s Office of the Los Salias Municipality (alcaldialossalias.gob.ve) and the Integral System of Surface Transport (sitssa.gob.ve).
The hacker hasn’t defaced the sites’ home page. Instead, he uploaded his own files on each of them. It appears this is his MO for all the websites he has hacked.
At the time of writing, the defacement pages added by the hacker are still present.
According to Hmei7’s zone-h.org account, over the past few weeks, he has hacked government sites from several countries, including Mexico, Brazil, Thailand, Austria, Argentina, Kazakhstan, Italy, Malaysia and the United States.
