While unlocked HTC One X devices are currently getting software update 1.29.401.7, UK-based carrier Three is now deploying the first update released by HTC two weeks ago.
In fact, the operator said it wouldn't push software update
1.28.401.9 at the time of launch, instead it came forward with this 1.28.771.9 maintenance update, which is now available for download OTA (over the air).
The update is said to bring improved battery life, signal strength and overall speed, along with enhancements for Beats Audio and Tegra 3 gaming.
The following fixes are included in this update as well: HTC Sense Calendar widget crashing, HTC Calendar double dates bug, HTC Sense crashing, and screen glitches.
Keep in mind that this won’t be the last software update for HTC One X pushed by Three UK. The carrier is expected to release the latest software version 1.29.401.7 as well, though no launch date has been unveiled yet. Stay tuned for more info on the subject.
