Sony kicked off the Ice Cream Sandwich rollout process for Xperia arc S, Xperia neo and Xperia ray last week. Initially released in Nordic countries, the update was slowly deployed in other countries over the past couple of days.

Today, UK-based carrier Three announced the availability of the update for customers who purchased the Xperia arc S through its official channels.

As expected, the update is available via the latest version of Sony PC Companion desktop software, which is available for download here.

We recommend Xperia arc S owners to back up their personal data stored on the phone prior updating to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Also, make sure the phone’s battery is at least 50% charged.
