The smartphone is available for £29/€35/$45 on contract

HTC's Windows Phone flagship handset, the 8X is now available for purchase in the UK from multiple carriers and leading retailers.

Three UK is now offering the HTC 8X for £30/€35/$45 a month with an upfront cost of £29/€35/$45 on the Ultimate Internet 500 plan. The smartphone is available both online and in all Three brick and mortar locations.

Customers who do not want to commit to a long term contract can grab the HTC 8X on PAYG (pay as you go) for £350/€435/$555 plus a top up. Check it out here.

Three UK who are having second thoughts on grabbing the HTC 8X should know the carrier is also offering an extra special gift to those who purchase it.

According tot Three UK, customers who buy the 8X by HTC will receive the latest Windows 8 Pro upgrade for free. The deal requires signing up for 24 months plans.

In addition, the Windows 8 Pro upgrade offer is available to Three UK customers who already own a PC with Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista or Windows 7 and that meets the minimum system requirements of Windows 8 Pro.

Moreover, the deals is only available to those who buy a HTC 8X between November 9 and December 21, while stocks of credit vouchers last.

Eligible customers will receive the upgrade in the form of a credit voucher which can then be redeemed on Microsoft's website in order to download the software. Make sure you redeem the voucher until January 31, 2013, otherwise the credit will expire.
