Today, wireless carrier Three UK announced officially that its expands the availability of its new Facebook and Twitter-friendly music store to a wider range of mobile phone users, based on the success that the service already registered on some of the operator's Android devices.

The Three music store is powered by Fonestarz Media, and was designed so as to offer users the possibility to download music straight on their mobile phones.

Moreover, the service can be set to automatically change the customer’s status on Twitter and Facebook to reflect the latest music purchase they made.

The store is browser based, and provides users with music from all major and leading independent record labels: Sony, Universal, Warner, EMI and Vidzone, the wireless carrier notes.

Moreover, the service some with the My Music Club section, where users would find various offers and promotions.

“Thanks to Three’s high-speed mobile Internet network, it is even easier for customers to download music tracks to their mobile phone wherever they are,” Neil Andrews, Three UK Head of Media Sales and Content services said.

“The service has proven that people are keen to recommend music amongst their friends on Facebook and Twitter, giving access to a wider range of music than ever before.”

With this music store, users can easily access the latest tracks straight from their handsets. Those interested in accessing the store should head over to Three’s mobile phone portal, where they would find a link to the service.

The service was launched on Android smartphones on Three's network since December. According to the carrier, the full service is not accessible for users of Apple OS or WP7 devices on its airwaves.

“The new store has been extremely well received by Three UK’s Android customers,” Dave Moreau, Livewire Mobile COO, commented.

“It’s great to see Three developing the music store and launching its service on the Android Platform,” Susie Lucas, Universal Head of Mobile, added.
