Wireless carrier Three UK has just announced a new offer designed specifically for those who want to remain connected while traveling abroad during the holiday season.

The company’s new Euro Internet Pass offer has been put on place to enable users to freely browse, tweet, update, upload and search while traveling around Europe.

“We think nothing should get in the way of you making the most of your holidays. That’s why we’re the only network to offer the Euro Internet Pass,” the company notes.

Users who would like to benefit from this deal would have to pay £5 ($8 / €6.5) per day. This way, they will know at all times how much they have to pay for data roaming.

“So, if you’re trying to find that perfect Pizzeria, you can just Google it and track it down on a map. If you can’t remember the word for donkey in Spanish, download a translation app (it’s Burro by the way),” the wireless carrier notes.

“Or, if you really can’t resist finding out what’s going on at work, you can pick up your emails whenever you like and wherever you are. So you won’t need to wait to find WiFi.”

By taking advantage of this offer, users will be able to post status updates and photos with the places they are visiting straight from their handsets, all without worrying of surprise charges to their monthly bill.

The Euro Internet Pass is meant mainly for browsing, which means that streaming of videos or other content might not work as well as it would at home. The pass does not include tethering either.

Users who would like to get the pass will have to make sure that they have data roaming enabled and push notifications turned off on the handset. Then, they should head over to http://mobile.three.co.uk/europass on their phone’s browser.

After setting up the pass, users will be able to browse as they wish until midnight that day (UK time). If traveling for a longer period of time, users can grab a new pass for each day.
