Monitors, and pretty much every other sort of displays, get released on a regular basis, so it isn't that big a surprise to learn that Hyundai IT built a trio of such things, nor that said trio is already selling in Europe.

The one thing about the PC and PC-related product markets, as well as the mobile and consumer electronics segment, is that new things always come out.

Since users always seem to veer more towards those things that have most recently been unleashed, companies do their best to periodically deliver new devices.

Hyundai IT applied this principle in the field of monitors, creating the newest line of monitors known as the Q Series.

Three in number, the newcomers have a slim profile and utilize LED backlighting, which not only grants a low power draw but also boosts brightness, contrast and image quality overall.

The response time of all three siblings is of 5 ms, while the viewing angles are of 170 degrees and 160 degrees horizontally and vertically, respectively.

What's more, a pair of 1.5 W speakers are present inside each of the three newcomers, while the panels all have a brightness of 250 cd/m2 and a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1.

Other than that, D-Sub and DVI outputs handle the connectivity, with just the Q246Lh, the best of the trio, featuring an HDMI as well.

Verily, the only things that distinguish between the monitors are their screen sizes and resolutions.

Dubbed Q96Ld, Q226Lh and Q246Lh, they measure 18.5 inches, 21.5 inches and 23.6 inches, respectively.

The Q96Ld settles for the 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution, HD as it were, while the other two can display in 1,920 x 1,080 pixels.

All Hyundai IT Q Series panels have piano black frames and have prices of 125 Euro (Q96Ld), 169 Euro (Q226Lh) and 235 Euro (Q246Lh).
