Though the last traces of summer are already, more or less, sneaking away, Targus decided there was still time enough for its notebook coolers to show their worth, so its released three new models, each intended for a specific set of circumstances.

Though notebooks are designed in such a way as to not keep heat inside, there are certain situations or postures where a cooling stand can do wonders.

As such, Targus decided to show off its latest trio, each member designed in such a way as to best fit during a particular set of circumstances.

The three models unveiled are known by the more or less self-explanatory names of HD3 Gaming Chill Mat, the Travel Chill Mat and the Lap Chill mat.

The Lap Chill Mat is colored silver and has a pair of fans, whose air freely flows straight at the notebook thanks to grill on the upper side.

The Travel Chill Mat has a soft neoprene exterior, the same number of fans and rubber stops, obviously meant to stop the notebook from slipping off it.

The HD3 Gaming Chill Mat is, as one would expect, the higher-end version and boasts an aluminum allow grill and three fans instead of just two.

What's more, the Gaming Chill Mat has non-skinned elastomer feet and, like its siblings, draws all the power it needs out of the laptop through the USB interface.

The rotary speed of said fans is of up to 3,000 RPM (rotations per minute).

All three notebook coolers have already been added to their maker's official website and sell for up to $60.

To be more specific, the HD3 Gaming Chill Mat is priced at $59.99, the Targus Lap Chill Mat at $39.99 and, finally, the Travel Chill Mat at $29.99.

The entire offer, for those interested in either of the three, can be seen in detail on the official page set up on the company's website.
