Being the maker of various display solutions that it is, ViewSonic decided to update its extensive product portfolio with three new members, all of which have more or less similar specifications beyond the resolution and diagonal length.

The past couple of weeks have definitely not come and gone without ViewSonic making its contribution.

Among other things, the outfit has been pushing a certain tablet, the gTablet, giving it a price that is roughly half of that borne by other slates, $250, although, granted, it has the Android 2.2 OS, not the Android 3.0 Honeycomb.

Nevertheless, as the company name itself makes it clear, ViewSonic is, primarily, a maker of display solutions.

As such, the company has released a significant number of monitors over the years and isn't showing any signs that it will stop doing so any time soon.

That said, three such panels have now been added to the official website of the company, their names being VA1948m-LED, VA2248-LED and VA2448-LED.

In that order, they have screen diagonal lengths of 19.5 inches, 21.5 inches and 23.6 inches, respectively.

Also, the first of the three features a native resolution of 1,440 x 900 pixels, while the other two are Full HD-ready (1,920 x 1,080 pixels).

Most of the rest of the specifications sheet is the same for all three, with a response time of 5 ms, a glossy black frame, D-Sub and DVI inputs and a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000,000:1.

The VA1948m-LED, VA2248-LED and VA2448-LED are priced at 119 Euro, 145 Euro and 179 Euro, respectively, and sell with three-year warranties.

Prospective buyers will be pleased to know that power saving technologies have been implemented (there is an ECO Mode feature) and earned them one or more of EPEAT Silver, ENERGY STAR 5.0, and TCO 5.1 certifications.

Finally, the monitors are built without any mercury or other hazardous substances.
