All three of them should go on sale soon, if they haven't already

Once upon a time, no one had any idea that a home or apartment's power grid could be used for communication between electronic devices, but the world knows better now, thanks to companies like Rosewill.

Rosewill already has a pair of powerline AV adapters on sale, but it figured it was time to add a few more, so it launched the RPLC-201KIT, RPLC-201PKIT, and RPLC-200PKIT.

Powerline AV adapters plug into power sockets and set up a working local area network between them. The minimum number of adapters is two.

That is why, like the RPLC-200KIT and RPLC-500KIT, the new RPLC-201KIT, RPLC-201PKIT, and RPLC-200PKIT ship in pairs, with extras available for whoever wants them and has the money to pay for them.

RPLC-201KIT is a 200Mbps Powerline AV mini Wall-Plug Adapter. It relies on HomePlug AV technology.

The RPLC-201PKIT is also a 200Mbps Powerline AV Wall-Plug Adapter, but has pass-through, allowing high-speed networks to be expanded to multiple rooms with wall outlets.

Finally, the RPLC-200PKIT AV+ Premium has all of the above, plus a 30% speed advantage over standard AV200 Powerline.

It only takes a few seconds to initialize the new and/or expanded networks, thanks to single-button setup.

According to Rosewill's press release, the RPLC Powerline adapters will best serve customers who have weak wireless support and want at least their home computers and media products to work at high speed.

Also, it can help when there is high-speed Internet nearby, but using LAN cables and switches isn’t an option.

All in all, Rosewill's RPLC-201KIT, RPLC-201PKIT, and RPLC-200PKIT will, or at least can, improve high-definition media streaming, online gaming, and other bandwidth intensive applications.

Finally, “the built-in QoS allows prioritization of services and ensure lag free use of VoIP, video streaming, media streaming, or online gaming. All units feature a power savings feature to power down and idle when not in use.”
