14 DAY TRIAL // The Vancouver-based luxury mobile phone manufacturer Mobiado just announced three new devices - Mobiado 105EM Special Edition White, Mobiado 105EM Special Edition Red and Mobiado 105CLB, continuing the tradition of the Executive Model series with burl wood inset 105EM White and Red Special Edition handsets.
Professional 105 EM Special Edition handsets have their pair of wood inserts CNC machined from the same piece of solid box burl wood to guarantee consistent grain structure on both sides of the phone. The box burl wood is then inlayed into a 5 micron thick 24-karat gold plated, brass frame. The screws are gold plated brass. The buttons of the 105EM Special Edition are hand painted with 24-karat gold.
The entire front and back of the 105EM Special Edition phones have been crafted from large pieces of sapphire crystal (225 carats), providing a modern minimalist look with a wear resistance second only to diamond. The 105EM Special Edition phones use a unique and hidden sliding battery cover mechanism (patent pending) with the battery cover being made entirely from one piece of sapphire crystal.
The 105EM Special Edition phones are unlocked, quad-band GSM/EGSM and dual-band WCDMA network operational, which means that they are available worldwide. They are equipped with a 2 megapixel camera and video camera, more than 1 GB internal memory, 2 inch display with up to 16 million colors, Bluetooth and microUSB connectivity, and a music player that supports AAC, eAAC+, and MP3 audio formats.
The 105CLB handset is the true meaning of the word elegance on the mobile phone market. The entire front and back of the phone has been crafted from large pieces of sapphire crystal and printed with the silver Mobiado monogram. The 105CLB uses the same unique and hidden sliding battery cover mechanism (patent pending) with the battery cover being made entirely from one piece of sapphire crystal. The phone frame is precision CNC machined from aircraft aluminum to create a strong yet light body, it is polished, and then anodized or nickel plated to produce an appropriate surface for the toughest of uses.
The buttons and screws are beautifully machined and polished from stainless steel. The iconic Mobiado 105CLB is available in two designer styles (black and silver). The phone has the same features as the other two 105EM Special Edition candybars - 2 megapixel camera and video camera, 1 GB internal memory, 2 inch display with up to 16 million colors, Bluetooth and microUSB connectivity, and a music player that supports AAC, eAAC+, and MP3 audio formats.
