Three New ‘Avengers’ Images Are Out

Marvel is going full throttle with the promotion for “The Avengers,” which comes out on May 4, 2012. Just days after the release of the first set of official shots, it’s put out another three, never before seen images.

While they don’t reveal more of the story than the previously released pics, they do confirm that Black Widow, as played by Scarlett Johansson, is a very serious character.

Hot, but dead-serios.

Here we see her sitting at a table, looking down. She clearly has a lot on her mind or she’s really upset about something, which is the same impression she created in the other still.

Another pic is of Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, taken in the cockpit of a plane. We’re to assume he’s about to go out and wreck some havoc on his enemy since he too looks mighty serious.

The third photo is of director Joss Whedon giving instructions to the cast.

The first trailer for the highly anticipated “The Avengers” will premiere on Tuesday, October 11.
