Promo materials end up online months after the release, thrill fans to the extreme

The Dark Knight Rises,” Chris Nolan’s third and final Batman movie, came out this summer but, as it turns out, it still has plenty of surprises in store for fans. Take, for instance, these brand new (as in, never before seen) official posters.

Obtained by TrailersPark (via ComicBookMovie), all three posters are extremely simple and, at the same time, very efficient: two of them are of with Bane (Tom Hardy) and Batman (Christian Bale), with the all familiar “Rise” in the background.

The third one (above and my personal favorite) is all-black, with a stylized drawing of Bane’s mask and the only tagline “Fear” in caps.

It’s got to be by far the most striking and to the point poster released this year, at the very least. A shame Warner Bros. opted out of using it.

Check them out in the gallery below.
