Sony has just revealed a brand new offer for its North American fans, as those who get a 1-year subscription into its PlayStation Plus service will receive three additional months for free.

The PlayStation Plus subscription service is definitely one of the most popular features of the PlayStation 3 and PS Vita platforms, as Sony offers members access to many free games and plenty of big discounts.

Now, in order to make the online service even more irresistible, Sony has revealed, via PS blog, a brand new offer for those who've yet to sign up for PS Plus or who are looking to extend their membership.

Those who get a 1-year subscription or who activate an existing one until March 4 will receive three extra months of membership completely free.
