Three new Windows Phones have just been announced for the market in India, coming from three different mobile phone makers, namely the HTC Radar, the Samsung Omnia W, and the Acer Allegro.

All three smartphones are based on the new Windows Phone Mango operating system and should arrive on shelves starting with this month.

The HTC Radar, which sports a price tag of Rs 23,990 (around $490 / 355 Euros), will be the first to arrive on shelves in the country.

The Samsung Omnia W will be next, featuring a price tag of Rs 19,900 (about $407 / 295 Euros) when released, followed by Acer Allegro in November.

The HTC Radar was unveiled to the world at the beginning of the last month, with a large 3.8-inch touchscreen display on board and with a fast 1GHz application processor packed inside.

The handset features a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for video recording, and with 8GB of internal memory. It also comes with WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities, as well as with a built-in GPS receiver.

HTC has brought the new smartphone to the IFA 2011 show in Berlin last month, and we had the chance to play with it for a bit.

The Samsung Omnia W arrives on shelves with a 3.7-inch touchscreen display, but with internal circuitry that is on par with what the HTC smartphone included.

The mid-level smartphone includes a 5MP camera on the back, also with video recording, DLNA capabilities, and Samsung's AllShare technology to share photos and videos captured with the new device on HDTVs.

As for the Acer Allegro, the handset has been unveiled to the world this week with a 3.6″ WVGA display, 8GB of storage space, 1 GHz processor, and a 5 megapixels auto-focus camera, on the back. The smartphone will be released both in white and black flavors.
