About a year ago, Russia's Novosibirsk Zoo announced that it was home to the world's first liliger. Recent news from this part of the world says that three other such rare hybrids were born at this animal sanctuary.

Specialists explain that a liliger is the offspring of a male lion and a female liger. For those unaware, a liger is the result of one lion's mating with a tiger.

The Inquisitr informs us that, although they were born back in May, the three baby liligers have spent the past few weeks in isolation.

Thus, it was only a few days ago that zoo staff decided that they were strong enough to be put on display.

The three cubs are all female, and zoo employees believe that, judging by the adorable look on their faces, they'll grow to be fierce heartbreakers.
