14 DAY TRIAL // Marking a first-time collaboration with the Korean mobile phone manufacturer, T-Mobile U.S.A has recently announced the future availability of three new LG mobile phones for its customers. The LG Sentio, LG dLite and LG GS170 are expected to become available this summer for T-Mobile customers in a variety of colors, form factors and features. The fourth phone rumored to be on the verge of becoming official is the LG GM360 Viewty Snap also known as Bali.
"We're expanding our lineup of compelling handset choices for our customers with the addition of these LG phones," said Paul Cole, vice president, Devices and Accessories, T-Mobile USA. "Coupled with T-Mobile's award-winning customer service and high-speed network, these fashionable new phones offer winning solutions for families."
The LG dLite is basically an LG GD580 Lollipop clamshell phone which has been re-designed. The device sports a 2.8 inch WQVGA main display and 3G connectivity. A very interesting feature is a hidden LED matrix found on the exterior of the phone, that can display time&date, caller ID, alerts and can also be easily customized to change colors. The device also features a 3-megapixel camera and offers support for T-Mobile's Social Buzz, an application which enables users to access their favorite social networking sites.
The LG Sentio is a re-branded LG GS500 Cookie Plus, with an added GPS receiver. The device features a 3-inch WQVGA touchscreen with a virtual QWERTY keyboard, 3 megapixel camera and 3G connectivity. T-Mobile's Social Buzz and T-Mobile web2go applications are preloaded on the device. The LG GD170 is a low-end clamshell phone with a VGA built-in camera, Bluetooth 2.1 and email support.
The LG GM360 Viewty Snap has not yet been confirmed as the fourth LG mobile phone available at T-Mobile. The device features a 3 inch TFT touchscreen, accelerometer for auto-rotate, a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash. The memory can be enhanced to 16 GB with a microSD card.
