The Pope has started tweeting and he's quite chatty, he's already posted three tweets. That was actually expected as all of this was planned ahead.
Still, since he started his Twitter career a few hours ago, he's gotten 100,000 new followers, he's up to 760,000 now. His first tweet also got 32,000 retweets in that time.

Anything the Pope does is sure to spark a lot of interest and the Vatican is no stranger to pomp. But check out the video above, there's a huge crowd, cameras, photographers and so on, gathered just to watch him tap the send button on his iPad.
